About Us

Welcome to Hamtun Honey! We’re a small, family-run business based in Southampton, started by a father, mother and daughter who all share a love for bees and the outdoors.

What began as a simple hobby back in 2023 has quickly grown into something much bigger. Over the past couple of years, we’ve worked hard to build up our hives, perfect our honey, and share it with our local community. Our efforts were recognised in August 2025 when we proudly won First Prize at the Southampton Honey Show. Around the same time, we were thrilled to be featured as Trader of the Week in the Daily Mail, which was a lovely surprise for our little family business.

We make and sell pure local honey, hand-poured beeswax candles, and a variety of beeswax-based products. You can often find us at local markets across Southampton and Hampshire, chatting with customers and sharing samples of our award-winning honey.

Caring for our bees is at the heart of everything we do. We take pride in keeping them healthy, happy, and well looked after. We believe that when bees are treated with respect, they reward you with the best honey imaginable – and every jar we sell is proof of that.
